PORTFOLIO: Native American Heritage Month

For this poster, I have probably spent 8 hours or more. For revamping it for midterm, I added the background (something I found on morguefile.com and then converted to a duotone), made the Native American chief a COB, and edited the text. Although I feel it could maybe use a little more work, I am pleased with the fun color of the background

For my concept, I wanted the idea that the Native American has names of tribes in him, like the viewer might have in them. Also, I tried to make the background resemble a terrain like that the Native Americans might have lived on.
